RodMan has a few more D of the year trophies.. He had a smaller frame and still just was a monster as a D player. Could play people out and in. I would say rodman right now. But ben is still young. I think later on he will be the best

I'm sorry Smart Mark but this question, I would say is hilarious.
You cannot put Ben Wallace in Dennis Rodman's league when it comes to being a defender. Rodman did his thing from day 1, the day he played his first ever NBA game to the last game he did.
Ben Wallace has his moments but nothing really special. He cannot dictate the outcome of a game because of his defense unlike Rodman who did it day in and day out.
Yes Ben Wallace is a good defender but is not even close to being in Rodman's league when it comes to defending.

If we go by NBA Defensive Player of The Year awards, Ben Wallace has won the award four times, while Rodman has
won the award twice. If we go by rebounding, Dennis Rodman
led the NBA in rebounding seven consecutive seasons, while
Wallace led the league in rebounding two consecutive seasons.
If we go by blocked shots, then Wallace gets the edge. If we
go by steals per game, I'm guessing it's Rodman. I think Rodman
would get the edge, because he could defend a wider range of
players. He could defend the bigger players, but the smaller ones
as well.

Dennis Rodman has more Defensive Player of the Year Awards. He also was a rebounding saint. If there was a board to get, you coudl bet on Rodman getting that board. I'd say Rodman is the best of the two.

Trill Answer.................
both are talented defensive players, but Ben Wallace can stop you physically. While Dennis Rodman used to stop players physically and mess with them mentally(get them tossed out)!
So I would say Dennis Rodman for sure!

Rodman. He was a great one on one defender while ben really needs to be coming from the weakside and off his player to make a real impact throughout a game. Also rodman got into their heads which meant he didn't have to play sweet defense all the time sometimes they would screw up for him.

Pound for pound, Rodman. He doesn't nearly have the size of Ben Wallace and was effective

Dennis Rodman because he would also mess with the opponents minds.
