Contact local potter's. Someone would probably do it for you for free or for a small charge.

I have been in your position before. I found that a combination of the answers listed below is the answer:
1.) Contact any local school that has a Pottery Class ie. Community College or University. That works sometimes.
2.) There may be a local artist that makes ceramics. Ask around maybe at a coffee shop or local art gallery. Someone will probably know of a local artist who would be happy to help you.
3.) There may be an Ceramic distributor that has ceramic classes in house near you. Look in the phone book under ceramics and glazes.
I hope this works. It has worked for me in the past. Different methods at different locations.

Try to see if there are local pottery classes, some will let you use the kiln for a small fee.

contact local bead stores as well, they have the kiln specifically for clay jewelry. Might have to pay a small price as well.

If you are in a university town, contact the art department. They may let you purchase space in a kiln for firing.

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/2AO3H
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.

Considering what you want to do with it you might try a low temperature firing clay that can be fired in your oven at home. Check out www.dickblick.com for more information.

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

Some colleges did run night classes for such purposes, that is until the cutbacks a couple of years ago. Still you may be lucky and find one available.
