I am norvegian, so I know a lot about Norway!
You should know that Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world, but it's also rated as the best country to live in (by FN) 2 years in a row.

Our winters are pretty cold with a lot of snow, and the summers are warm and nice, a lot warmer then most people think.

The west side of the country is where you find the fjords, and it is truly an amazing experience. beautifull.

In the northern parts of Norway it's rather cold all year round and in winter it can come down to -30 and even -40 degrees. The cool thing up north, it that in summer, the sun never goes down! You've got sun 24 h a day. but then in the winter, the sun never gets up, and it's dark all day!

useful phrases in Norwegian;

Hei - hi
god tur! - have a nice trip!
takk - thanks
ha det - bye
vi sees! - see you later!

I talked with a friend who recently went to Norway. He loved it, but said that everything is very expensive there.
