Yes, my grandfather's favorite song was "The Old Rugged Cross." I think of him whenever I hear it. Sometimes I smile, sometimes I cry and often, I do both. Always I sing along.

My boyfriend and I met online and lived about eight hours from each other. During one phone conversation he played Frank Sinatra's version of this Nat King Cole song, while singing along with it. This was in the phase of the relationship, when we both knew, but were scared to say. The song made me cry then...and still does.
L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can
Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you

Songs remind me of certain times in my life. During the time, the song was popular, and my age at the time and where I was living. There are many Oldies that remind me of my teen age years and events that were going on at the time.

Yes, Brad Paisley's Little Moments and Kenny Chesney's How Forever Feels remind me of my ex. Luckily for me those songs bring back the good memories, and not the bad.
He always told me that Little Moments reminded him of me because I was what he lived for. Apparently there were also a few other things he lived for. haha

The Lonestar song "Amazed" reminds me of my ex-girlfriend any time I hear it. Good thing they don't play it much anymore.
There are other songs out there that remind me of people but for the life of me I cannot think of them at the moment.

The Faith Hill song from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack. We played that at the funeral of a loved one. I Hope You Dance reminds me of the same person because it was thier favorite song.

Definitely...."Heaven" by Bryan Adams. I danced to that song at my Sophmore Homecoming w/ a guy I had a huge crush on. But my brother made him dance with me, ....I didn't care though. Every time I hear that song I laugh and think of the guy.
