Oooo u have a great skin/hair combination. U should try using a dark eyeliner ( maye a really dark brown. Or u could go ahead & dare 2 do the midnite black liner if u like the dramatic eye look. I love it personally. Very sexy look) But then a softer eyeshadow (pinks & nude shades) will work well with that. Your skin complexion is easy 2 work with because u arent too pale that anything with too much color would stand out like a mask, but u arent dark enuff to be confined to only one or 2 shades. So play with softer tones and see what u get. (no more than 2colors on the eye though. And for hilites, i say a coppery auburn color would be gorgeous. Nothing too bright. Stay away from blonde. The blonde contrast against your dark hair would be too much. Play with it & have fun! Good luck :-)

When you're dealing with VERY dark eyes, sometimes the impact comes from the sheen of the makeup instead of the colour. On dark, olive-skinned girls, I always use a very luminescent gold shadow over the whole lid, with a pearly brown on the edges and crease. Gorgeous.
Also, for a very dramatic look, try blues - but stick to navy and royal.

we have about the same coloring and this works for me.
I uses a level 4-8 depending on the time of year. I usually use a cool or ash color, sometimes if i'm feeling bored in the fall I go for some red highlights.
I uses lavender (I know but just try it) or browns for my eye shadow. buy some cheap make up and try it out. then when you find something you like bring it to a makeup counter and have them match it. I don't generally trust the people working at the mall. I've had some friends that have (professionals) and like it or not they have quotas and have to "get rid of" certain colors sometimes. You never know when that sometimes is so be careful and use your best judgment.

For dark hair and dark eyes, HOW you apply the shadows is just as important as what colors you use. With an olive complexion, you have alot of options but start with a subtle shimmery color as your base (applied from just above your lashline to underneath your brows) and than use a darker color, such as a dark brown, (something with a 'coffee' name, i.e. espresso) and that should be applied to the crease of your eye. Plums are also great colors for your hair and skin.

I have been told that the best color for dark eyes is shades of purple. Myself I use different shades and a purple liner. Hope this helps you. Of course I do like the idea of buying cheaper brands until you find the color you can't live without then going to a department store.

Okay, i have black hair and dark eyes, and work occasionally as a makeup artist. And I usally emphasize my eyes, black liner and lots of mascara look more natural on us so you can't really overdo it. The smoky eye thing es cool to. Then buy yourself an eyeshadow in a pearly beige and apply it on the inner corners of your eyes, and your brow bone. Go for shimmery shadows, but apply them very lightly. If you want your eyes to look bigger line the inner rims of your eyes with a white liner. And go easy on the lipstck, wear a very natural shade.

You have the perfect eyes to wear bright colors with. Line your eyes with lavender and then outline the lavender with normal purple. You should do this with other colors like blue or green. Just remember to use a light shade of a color on your lid and a darker shade on your crease. Your eyes are really gonna brighten up the room.

I have dark hair and eyes as well and I have found that purples really make my eyes pop. Not like candy purple now, a nice, rich deep purple. Try just using a purple liner and neutral shadow for day, and a purple smoky eye for night. It's worked wonders for me! I hope it helps! (PS: Green and gray work well to pop dark eyes too.)

Let me start of, I am NO make-up expert, but I did go to a fairly upscale department store recently and scheduled a time to sit with one of the make-up specialists (I went with Clinique) and they worked with me until I found some really good colors. I would suggest doing the same thing -- usually if you buy some of their product, they won't charge you to sit and work with the for a while.

attempt lilac. something iridescent with pop. Line basically your decrease lashes for something diffused, or pass each and every of how around for something extra relaxing. The look is quite tremendously in case you employ black eyeliner and a beneficial mascara to assessment with the pink so your eye is defined and not washed out. have relaxing! :)
