Lipstick on your shirt or collar? A few simple steps will get it out.
Steps

1. Dab stain very lightly with denatured alcohol using a soft, white cloth.
2. Rub dishwashing detergent gently into the stain with your finger.
3. Try using a stain stick and leaving it on for several minutes before washing, if the mark is stubborn.
4. Wash fabric as usual. It would be best to air dry the garment so that the stain does not set in. This way you can take it to the dry cleaner if it does not come out.
5. Ask your dry cleaner for help if all else fails.

Tips & Warnings

* If you are out and don't have access to alcohol, leave the stain alone until you get home. If you're desperate, try dabbing it with cold water.
* Remember to dab, not rub, as rubbing can ground in the stain.
* Remember if a fabric is dry clean only it is best to take it to your dry cleaner. Do not pretreat. Pretreating can make the cleaning process hard for your cleaners and hinder them from removing the stain for you.

This happened to me once years ago. I blotted the spots with rubbing alcohol until the stain was gone, then washed the clothing again in a good detergent (Tide). Some fabrics will come clean easier than others. I have also heard that rubbing petroleum jelly on the stain will work also, but I have not tried that myself. You can use backing soda to remove the jelly afterwards as it will leave a greasy stain behind. If that doesn't work, I'd contact the manufacturer of the lipstick...they will probably have some ideas as well.

Go to a Dollar store as Family Dollar or Dollar General Store. Found in the laundry detergent dept & auto cleaning dept is a little white tub of fabulous cleaner called M30-$1.00 cost. This stuff removes lipstick, paint & things that get on carpet, clothing, fabrics & hands or skin. Take about a teaspoon size and rub it into the spot.Let it set for about 10 minutes & use a clean dry rag & begin by pinching it out-don't rub out,dab & change to clean spot of rag.Red shades take longer to remove so put another blab of the pasty M30 on the spot, rub it in & let it set for 15 more minutes then dab out again.
