That would be in regards to the way you say a word, how it sounds and how it is articulated. For instance, even though you 'call someone on the phone' note that phone has an 'f' sound but it's spelled with a 'ph' but the correct pronunciation is with the 'f' sound.

pronunciation is the way that you will speak a certain word. usually in a manner that is understood by other people. if you are from another country it is important to "pronounce" or speak a word rightly in order to be understood, as many words can mean or sound like something different, if not spoken out correctly.
