Are these copy cat crimes being encouraged by all the media coverage? Or are these just problematic people coming to a boiling point in a troubled society. The ones I wonder about the most is how kids get guns and bombs so easily?

Some think they are memes.

I think they are the concequences of deep social problems relating to the need to excel, or become different from a society that presents no possibility of individuality. Therefore all the kids are seen, (by the perpetrators) as one; and the deaths of few are not observed as an individual dissaster, but as a social message to the institution that suppresses opportunities. In other words America is F**ked up.

It's about the media spending so much time on the crime, what better way to get attention is there? The PERPETRATOR wants attention at any cost. That's one way to get it. Go to a school and start shooting kid's and teachers. Then the S.O.B'S SHOOT THEMSELVES. TOO FREAKING BAD WE CAN'T DRAG THEM BEHIND A TRUCK. THEN LET THE MEDIA REPORT THAT.
