If you are committing tax evasion would you enclose a letter confessing your crime along with your tax return? If you cheat in a Las Vegas casino would you turn yourself in?
Get real! Your macho attitude impresses only those as weak-minded as you!

You can answer your question by knowing why would you cheat to begin with. The prevailing answer to why spouses cheat is that something is wrong in the marriage and the affair is a bi-product of those problems, even when most other aspects of the relationship are working well. “The problem” is often one that the faithful spouse who would never think of cheating does not see or has elected to ignore for one reason or another. Other times, the marriage has changed and evolved in a way that leaves the cheating husband or cheating wife feeling left out or somehow empty. Those changes may include a shift in attitudes toward one another and the problems ensue. When a spouse feels that his or her needs are not being met, some turn to their work, others to drugs or alcohol and many to the arms of another man or woman. Although this appears to be the most common cause, there are others who engage in an affair or infidelity purely for the sex. They do not want their relationship to end, they simply seek the thrill that being with someone else brings. Mostly when marriage does not work cheating spouse try to find the better man in her life and before she does it she will not advertise it. When cheating is purely for sex letting spouse know spoils fun. Either way, the pain, humiliation and betrayal are the same.

You are not supposed to cheat just to get your spouses attention. Cheating is a release and a bad one at that. If you feel you must cheat then you are not satisfied with your partner and you need to look for a way to end the relationship. Don't stay married in a bad relationship life is too short. And if you are causing the bad relationship by cheating then you need your freedom to see others.
If you want to save your mariage, get help like see a therapist they can work wonders.

Why the hell would you want spouse to know your cheating unless you are finding a way to get out of being in a relationship i don't think it would do much for married life!

this sounds like a conflicting question here. if you have an open marriage and you both agree to be "swingers" than it's not considered cheating. but if you alone or the spouse does it without the other consenting to it it's considered cheating.

What, don't you think you can be a lying scumbag without sharing with your spouse? Certainly you can come up with a way to hurt them without lowering yourself to that level. If that is your intent, cheating to hurt, I forgot, you are already a scumbag.
