Scorpio is one of the best vechicle that India has ever produced. A statement that India too can make a world class vehicle. It was a first step towards creating a Indian SUV that can rub shoulders with others from across the oceans. The first generation Scorps had a heavy diesel burner engine, very light steering which made it instable on the high way and leaf spring rear suspension. These did help it become the most confortable car. The latest Scorp has a good common rail diesel engine which is pretty refined and the rear suspension is now no more a leaf spring which is much better. The suspension and chasis has been worked upon by the legendary Lotus labs. A new 2.2litre common rail engine is on its way and this will give the Scorp much needed weight reduction. So if you can wait for 3 or 4 months you might have a much better Scorp.

Mahindra Scorpio SUV comes in two variants that is diesel and petrol,diesel variant comes with CRDE 2.6 liter Engine,115 bhp of power and petrol with 2.0 liter MPFI Engine with 115 bhp of power.

No, I've driven that. It has cramped interiors, bumpy ride, poor handling and braking . If you could spend a little more then why noy go for Audi Q7 SUV and it has just been launched in India...
