Why should they.
Jesus Christ did not tell his followers to go to church, they had churches or synagogues in his time.
He said whenever 3 or more are gathered together have a bite to eat, drink some booze and remember him.
All organised Christian religions are Quasi Christian cults, yet most UK residents reject these and are genuine Christian Fundamentalists. Believe in Christ, his ideas, love thy neighbour, turn the other cheek, all men are equal last shall be first etc and you are a Christian fundamentalist. Go to Church you join a cult, Moonies, Morman, Catholic, Methodist, C of E all cults, but benign cults.
Now Islam is different, preaching death to non believers, Christians are second class citizens etc so there is a compulsion to attend the Mosque.
Muslims make a serious mistake when they equate Christian attendance at Church on Sunday with Christian beleif.
A high percentage of UK based Muslims are actually Christian Fundamentalists who retain Muslim ways and pay lip service at the Mosque, but who believe in equal rights and forgiveness and many other Non Islam compatible Christian concepts.

Basically their attitude, I find that many of Vicars/people in the Church in England/Wales have a condescending attitude which I feel is very unchristian. That is what puts me off going to church.

People don't care about religion these days, they'd rather have a lie in after being out the night before, plus they don't like living by bible standards and morals fall by the wayside and they just can't be arsed basically!

Cos getting up that early on a Sunday is a drag...especially when you're hungover! Who needs to go church to prove they believe in anything - a lot of people go just so others might think how righteous they are when they see them there. Load of bollox if you ask me.

All of Western Europe is considered to be "post-Christian". After 2000 years of irrationality, the evil spell is wearing off. We Americans lag way behind them in cultural evolution.

Obviously they have better things to do or better places to be.
Personally I'd rather clean up dog poo then go to church, looks and smells the same anyways.
Oh yeah I'm white.........maybe that's the reason I feel this way...........thanks
