Maybe not...in Ohio we've had solid Republican rule now for 6 years. Things have been awful here, and everyone knows it too. Yet there are still very, very many conservative holdouts who insist "It's still Clinton's fault" even though plenty of time has passed and they've had no roadblocks to their agenda. Plenty of time to fix things, but "bad things keep happening". Even though bad things have happened throughout history, for some reason it is suddenly the excuse of choice.
I'm projecting R wins in 2 or 3 major races here, including governor. Unbelievable!

SEX Scandels? pretty funny coming from the Democratsand the party of "can't keep his dick in his pants" Billy Bob Clinton.
The economy is booming...the DOW at over 11,000, jobless rate is super low..if you don't have a job you are probably a slimeball who is not looking for one.Dems are gonna find it real hard to get Middle America to turn and vote for them because of the Economy.Sorry, it's just good,,,,taxes are down, and most of us are a lot better off than in 2001.
SO lets see, the fringe groups of wackos have taken over the Democratic Party gays, lesbians (not that there's anything wrong with GAYS or lesbians, Republicans have a few too), PETA, communist, socialists, illegal immigration amnesty groups, outmoded and crooked LABOR groups, wacko anti oil drilling tree huggers, and environmental wackos in general, Michael Moorons who believe anything that idiot films, and Hollywood liberals who are anti gun rights while making movies which glamorize violence and gore, among them. Yeah there are Middle Americans that hate the war in IRAQ or ANY war, but it's a stretch to suddenly wanna put the control of government in the hands of Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Diane Slimestein , Charles Schumer, Barbara Boxer, and UGLY Betty Hillary!!!!!!!!..Whatever we might think about the war..it ain't enough to make us want to ever, EVER, EVER vote for the fricking Democrats.

Is the party over for the Republicans what? You shouldn't use the apostrophe in the word Republicans.
No, the answer is the Republicans will retain control of both houses, and even pick up seats. It's what you libs don't get...while the GOP is a bunch of collective turds, replacing them with even bigger turds is no option. The GOP will do just fine at the polls.

Only temporarily...Republicans will lose control of the house and
senate in the next months election, then the presidency..Then the Dems will screw it up (just like the Republicans) and it will be a continual cycle as is our history....

It is over for them in Ohio. The only state-wide office that will go Republican is Attorney General.

I don't think so. For one, I have not seen any action plans by the Dem....I hear a lot of "This needs fixed" but see no plans...if they are there please show me....Granted the Reps. plans are not perfect but at least they have them....There are also still a lot of people who are very conserviative and will not vote Dem to save their life....For me, I do not agree with every thing my party has done but until the Dems shoe me someone better the Kerry I am still going to vote Rep.....

You know, it's all "ebb & flow", scandals happen in both
political parties. it all boils down to who can make the other guys look worse. :)

Hell no! They'll just steal the election the same way they did the last two. Once a thief; always a thief!
