Andy, Just how do you suppose we could have stopped N.Korea from developing an atomic bomb or anything else ?
North Korea is a sovereign nation. All we could do is to refuse to trade with them. Without other countries also refusing, it wouldn't harm them enough to bother with.
Of course, we could send our entire army in, but they have one of the biggest armies in the world. Oh sure, we could nuke them, and have the whole world against us. Yep, Kim is real flakey but he's not a complete idiot. Having the bomb isn't a big deal any more. It gives him a little more prestigue but he knows we have thousands more, and far more powerful, and much much better ways of putting them right where we want them.

Oh Andy, Two things then I gotta go to read and answer more informed people on this site. 1. The democrats knew the same info as the GOP, check it yourself. 2. The reason, like it or not, that the N. Koreans have nuclear capabilities is because we(Clinton Administration) bargained with them, trusted their honesty, and got FOOLED. No political agenda here, those are the facts. And easily attained information as well. What's your excuse for your ignorance?

Covering for the paedophile, of course!
There's nothing that anyone could have done to prevent NK from getting the bomb -- aside from starting another war against the second largest standing army in the world. Not a particularly brilliant prospect..
There's a LOT that the Reps could have done to deal with Foley. Hastert chose to fall on his sword and will pay a very high political price for that. Had he dealt with it proactively, he'd have been a HERO in everone's eyes, Rep and Dem alike. He frittered away a golden opportunity. Stupid!

This is the start of a Democrat takeover. Believe me, even HBK (Hanoi-Boy Kerry) could've handled this better.
To answer your question, think about this. A) Pedophilia is not new to hard-right NeoCons, B) Pedophilia cannot murder millions of innocent people. That taken into account, I'll say the second one.

An alternative question for you : Which is worse the Dems giving Kim Jong Il reactors and money to enrich uranium or applauding Gerry Studds, a congressman for having anal sex with a 17 yr. old?

Sounds like the typical Conservative response; something wrong happens, it's a Liberal's fault. If the Conservatives do something wrong, it's still a Liberal's fault. Why are the Conservatives I meet so much more venomous than the Liberals?

Just like liberals - anything you hear off of your hate web sites you just repeat it as the truth or did you just make this all up on your own?
