yes, I was on the ortho novum 777 birth control pill and got pregnant with my second son. You can be on any kind of birth control and still get pregnant. Nothing, except for abstanence can keep you from getting pregnant. Nothing is 100% proof. If you don't want to get pregnant than it's as easy as not having sex until you are ready to possibly take care of a kid.

Yes, I was taking birth control pills (the progesterone only kind) and am now 39 weeks pregnant and due in one week! I never missed a pill, it happened when I was put on repeated courses of antibiotics for chronic UTI's. As it turns out, antibiotics VOID the effects of birth control pills but doctors never tell you that! My OBGYN is the one who told me, once we found out we were pregnant. She said it is not uncommen for women on the pill to get pregnant while they're taking antibiotics. The two are just not compatible, they cannot both work at the same time. Since finding out I was pregnant I have spoken to two other pregnant women who had the same thing happen to them. Don't you think it's strange that doctor's don't warn women about this when they prescribe them anitibiotics???

Yes, the pill
Certain medications when taken in combination with birth control diminish the birth control pill's effectiveness
medications for epilepsy for sure fall into that category

Nope but i have friends who have!..even doctors will tell you that birth control is not 100 percent affective!...also keep in mind the pill doesn't protect against STD's of any kind!
