WE SEE IT.
YOU have it shoved in our faces on TV and in the movies.
WHY CAN'T WE SAY WE DON'T LIKE IT?
It won't stop you from DOING it but I will not sit by and give you the FREE PASS TO IMMORALITY you want...

Yes - God will have to JUDGE you - not ME - and I thank him for that!

Yes we can turn off our TVs and not go to movies but that would let the immoral people WIN.
Why can't there be good family shows that do not have a gay in them. Did you notice that every movie or TV show now has their token gay character. Not needed.

I don't want a free pass for ANYTHING. I just want you to mind your own business. Don't tell me how to live my life and I won't tell you how to live yours.
You can say that you don't like the way I live my life but I really don't care and I won't change the way I live to accomodate you.
How did I shove it in your face on TV and in the movies??? I don't work in these industries. If TV bothers you there is a simple solution to that called the remote control. It's real simple, if a program bothers you, just pick up the remote, push a button and the channel changes!!! Fascinating stuff!!! If movies bother you something called your feet will move you past the theatre where the offensive picture is being showed so you don't have to go in and see it.
Why do Conservatives make things harder than they really are???

Huh? The middle of the Foley scandal is not the time to take the offense on issues of morality.

As for TV shows, why can't the Bush administration do more to clean the airwaves? There's no liberal movement to dirty them. Most media is owned by rich Republicans fyi.

What about Fox TV? Owned by the most conservative of republicans.

Perhaps you should ask your "question" over in the religion and spirituality section. You may ask them about this statement of yours "Yes - God will have to JUDGE you - not ME - and I thank him for that!" I thought God judged us all? Or do you think you get some dispensation because you SAY you're moral?

Jesus said "let he who is free of sin cast the first stone" The crowd had the intelligence, moral development and sense of shame to know he was right. Apparently your version of "Christianity" is a more simple and primitive religion than the one founded by Jesus.

We don't want anything from you never mind some stupid free pass. We simply don't accept your version of morality and we won't accept you shoving your religion and it's teachings down our throats through laws passed by political whores in congress. If you don't like what you see on TV then don't watch it. Where did you get the idiotic notion that you couldn't say your views? Just don't expect us to roll over and say amen that's not ever going to happen. As for god if he exist than why do you pray to a mass murderer drowned the world and leveled two cities, tortured so poor slob named job just to win a bet. You have a sorry taste in deities.

well, folks, its like this...200 and some years ago folks came to this country because they wanted no longer to have the morality of others rammed down their throat. Here, you see, we are free to decide for ourselves what is OK and what is not. This is what separates us from the maniacs in the Middle East, for example.

The code of the liberals, as you say, ( i prefer the term "libertarian") is that we have the right to do as we please, as long as we don't infringe upon others right to do as they please.

If you don't like what you see on TV, don't watch it. Better yet, get your own cable channel and maybe folks will watch it and you'll be a big hit among those that think as you do.

As far as a judging God? well, the gods i believe in don't judge.

Most Americans learned in elementary school that God doesn't make the laws around these parts....the People do. That's why it's called a Republic and not a theocracy.

Help us keep moving our Republic forward, won't you? Otherwise we will start to look more and more like Afghanistan under the Taliban.

Do you really want that?

Because this is supposedly a free society, with a limited government, and the price we have to pay for that is that some people will make choices YOU don't approve of, and you'll just have to live with it. You would be a tyrant to make the government force YOUR values on others. Don't be a tyrant!

If you have faith in God, why are you so worried about what other people are doing? Why have you convinced yourself that "liberals" are the cause of all the troubles in your own life? You seem to think that only people like you have any rights. If a person wants to live a life that's going to shoot them straight to hell, let them. Just don't let them do it in your neighborhood.

Well you are ASSUMING that we are all Christians and will be shaking in our boots at the thought of judgment day. I'm Bursting your bubble, not all of us are christian so that means nothing to me. At this time I really wouldn't say liberals want a free pass to immorality considering the current state of conservatives in this country.

You might want to ask Rush Limbaugh about drugs,Bill O'Reilly about phone sex,and George Bush for an illegal war that breeds terrorism.

Define "immorality".Everyone thinks they know everything.
