Stress will surely affect the timing of your period. I would take a pregnancy test just in case if if doesn't come within the next week. If you have a burning sensation when you urinate, an odor, or anything "different" going on down there you may want to think about an STD test. I know it sounds scary but it is better safe than sorry. I hope everything works out!!

Ok stress can affect your periods. A couple of things could have happened to you. 1. You could have had a miscarriage during early pregnancy. If you were just a couple weeks along and something wasn't right you can miscarry and not even know you were pregnant. A lot of women have this and just think it's a regular or heavy period and never knew they were even pregnant. 2. If you just discharged something and are not having regular period bleeding. Than you might be pregnant. This sometimes is called implantation spotting. When the fertilized egg implants in the uterus you can have a little light spotting probably for one day. I suggest that you first go and get a home pregnancy test. You can get them at Walmart or the Dollar store for $4.00 or less. That way you maybe you can relieve some of this anxiety about what is going on if you knew you were pregnant or not. Then I suggest getting a check up with an OB/GYN doctor.

Your fine.
Stress will make your period late. It can be up to two weeks late. Also a change in diet or exercise will make a women's period late.
Don't panic. That is just making your period late.
Just relax and wait it out. Wait another week and see if it has come.
In most cases, it takes up to 2-3 weeks before a positive reading will come out of a pregnancy test. Some test say you can take it the day after your missed period. That isn't so. You need to wait at least 2-3 weeks after your missed period to take a home pregnancy test. SO just wait and see if your period comes in another week.
A women's body doesn't always stay on track and a period being late is not an uncommon occurrence.

Stress effects the body and is very hard on it. Depression can effect you the same way.

My period has been late before because of stress and aggervation its normal so calm done so you can get back on track. Take some time to relax.

1st thing 1st...its is perfectly NORMAL...infact studies suggest that almost 99.2% of women..sometime in their life...witness irregular periods...infact when we are under stress, regardless of the source (danger, personal relationships, work, environment) our adrenal glands are designed to secrete the hormone cortisol.... cortisol has a direct impact on the sex hormones estrogen, progesterone, and DHEA...eating disorders, dieting, drug use, and reliance on stimulants like caffeine and alcohol are also interpreted by the body as kinds of stress...poor nutrition seems to physically change the proteins in the brain so they can no longer send the proper signals for normal ovulation...Its normal...yes even the muddy discharge is normal...however if it continues for prolonged period then it is advisable to consult a gyno!

The number-one cause of irregular or skipped periods is emotional stress.

yeah if you are stressed your period can be delayed until you are feeling better, i was stressed last month and mine came 2 weeks later when i was feeling nice and relaxed on my holiday.

It doesn't help does it, by not coming when it is supposed to come, it just adds
