I just saw on the web page of one prospect university that the tuition is 6000 per semester. So I will pay 12000 per year or they meant semester by Term like summer, spring and winter. Do I have to pay this 6000 each semester or every term?

That is an estimate. It is per semester, per class hours. Most do not include the $200 per class books [range $50-300 a piece], lab workbooks, special items or lab fees and any testing supplies.

Get the School/ University Catalog by mail, and literally read it front cover to back and highlight the important parts. Most have them are on line, yet its really easier to see it all laid out.

You will need to add in all the expenses from housing to parking fees.

So do the MATH....then decide ~What you want to do with your college career. I always advise penny wise get the first two years at a junior college or community college after being advised from the University regarding "transfer students" to their school. It will be "hard" either way, yet the classes are smaller at the smaller schools.

Best wishes.

Once you read it, make notes and real questions and expectations and then go to the school counselor at HIGH SCHOOL...then the College. I would talk to your parents or (spouse) , and ask them to listen to your questions, concerns and come with you and quietly support you when you talk to the advisors. Another set of ears is very helpful. If you feel overwhelmed then listen to your gut....your right, you know you!

Be wise- Student loans will follow you a lifetime. Suck it up and tighten the belt, save as much as you can. Pay cash if you can.
We are currently paying on one doctrine degree at $230,000. So be so careful the loans and credit cards are intoxicating!

Best Wishes!!!!

You will pay through the nose at any institution. If it is 6000 per semester then for two semsters you would pay 12000. Then there is summer sessions. Usually two of those. You also need to check and see if that covers you for every hour you take. some schools will consider all full time students after 12 hours and you only pay one fee. But most schools are charging per credit hour. Look into a junior college. You will get more education for your pay.

You need to find out how many semester's you school has. The school I went to had two, fall and spring. you could go to summer semester too, but most students only attended fall and spring classes. My brother went to a school that had three semesters, called trimesters.

Semesters usually refer to fall and spring. Mini terms like summer and winter are usually cheaper.

i think of who ever is calling the different to circulate out, must be the only to pay and one ought to definately not alway being paying. I particularly does not mooch off somebody each and every of the time, nor do I even have that expectation I hate the reality that only bc you are able to earn a extra physically powerful paycheck, skill you are the breadwinner. places somewhat some tension on the breadwinner and deflates the ego of the different persons efforts.
