Rick H raises a good point that many people these days are simply not aware of, when Fred Wertham and his crew tried to smear the Dynamic Duo with the brush of homosexuality.
Apparently, Wertham got some homosexuals to say they wished that they were Ratman and Robin, and to him, that was enough to prove, by bass-ackward reasoning, that Batman and Robin had to be homosexual.
Having three single men living in a household seemed enough, to Wertham, to cement the accusation. DC responded by killing off Alfred, and introducing Aunt Harriet in his place. [Alfred was later brought back, in one of the earliest (and most astounding) 'return from the dead' sequences in comics, but I digress.]
But what Fred Wertham and all the other critics overlook is simply that Bruce Wayne was known as a Playboy long before the men's magazine of that name came into publication! He was known for having glamorous women dripping off his arm! One of them, Silver St. Cloud, actually figured out Batman's secret identity, because she recognized his chin from having woken up next to Bruce so many times...!
The original Robin, Dick Grayson, is equally hetero. He was shown in bed with Starfire, in the pages of the Teen Titans (in the late 80's or early 90's.) Since he has managed to solidify his relationship with Barbara Gordon, Starfire has dropped out of the picture; I understand that they reintroduced her for the animated show.
The most recent Robin, the girl Stephanie (I can't remember her last name), used to be the girlfriend of the third Robin, Tim Drake, while he was Robin.
In any event, it seems clear that just as in the example with Dr. Wertham, those who say that batman and Robin are homosexual are only expressing a wish fantasy of their own.
It is a good thing that Batman and Robin aren't real, for then they might become confused by all the hype about them, and someone would be sure to say that since they were 'confused', they should 'try' it and see if they really were that way 'all along'.
Pretty slick, to confuse your prey, deceive them into thinking that by participating in the very acts that characterize the desire, they will find out whether they had the desire in the first place!

I'd say no, but I guess it depends on what version you're talking about. There's so many tv shows, comics, spin-offs, and movies with Batman and Robin, that you really can't say Robin is or isn't this or that. But I can say for sure that Robin is not gay in any version I have seen him in. For example: If you've ever watched Batman Beyond, Bruce Wayne is old and this kid Terry becomes the new Batman. In the movie, you find out that Robin is married and has had a very disturbing childhood. In shows such as Teen Titans, Static Shock, and Justice league, Robin has left Batman to join the Teen Titans, where he meets and falls in love with Starfire [an alien girl]. Of course, there are many people that joke about how an older man runs around at night fighting crime with a young boy... But for the people with a straight [can't think of another word] minds, we all know that's a bunch of BS. And if you've watched the old Batman and Robin movies, Robin acts more of a lady's man and flirts with young women [even the villain women]. So is Robin gay? No. People with make fun of Robin anyways just because that's how people are, but there's nothing I've seen that says he is.

Poor Robin. I'm glad he's gotten some respect by becoming a teenage crime fighter.
If you've ever seen Teen Titans, I think you'd decide no. He doesn't have a girlfriend - too hot headed and obsessed with fighting crime and playing video games, though he does have a thing for Starfire.
And then there's the episode where Starfire goes to the future. Robin became quite a looker in it. The green tights were gone. I know, just from looking at someone you can't tell for sure, but my guess is no.

Actually in the 1954, Batman was outted as the first queer in comics, at least from the perspective of Dr. Fredric Wertham. The elder psychiatrist launched a campaign against comics that in true McCarthy style ended up in congressional hearings. These hearings nearly destroyed the comic industry as sales plummeted. The few publishers that survived the attacks were forced into self-regulation through the adoption of the Comic Code Authority (comics to this day still bear the code's seal of approval). Most of Wertham's attacks focused on the fact that young people would emulate the crimes they saw being committed in the comics.
To solve your question, it's all dependent on perspective.
HOLY FOLEY batman, doesn't he know it's illegal to have relations with anyone under 18, especially with underaged boys.

Robin a.k.a. Dick Greyson was a playa. He had women falling at his feet in college, and if one didn't want to do the matress mambo, there were plenty of other options. Robin was no kind of gay, honry.

I don't think so (but judging from his dress sense u never know). I think he was sleeping around with Batgirl at one point (must've pissed off Batman something chronic). He's also slept with some other superheroines, but maybe he couldn't admit his homosexuality to himself at those points.

No. Short pants may not have been the best fashion statement with regards to the old Robin costume, but no, he isn't.
