well, most would say about 10, but that's when I started drinking coffee, cappuccino, and all that good stuff, so about 9. LOL! Coffee is awesome when there's extra cream and sugar! gives me a buzz! ☺
and Cappucino is awesome because it's just plain AWESOME! I would personally love to have one right now! If it was possible, I'd want a portable Starbucks in my house, I love that place so much!!! LOL!

I used to sit and drink coffee with my great grandma when I was 5 years old. I'm not addicted to coffee or cappuccino. I drink they every once in a while but that's just because I want something hot. My daughter is 5 years old and when she goes to her grandparents' house she drinks coffee with them.

I agree! Wait til high school! I think it's sooo weird when I see moms sharing coffee with their little kids that are in elementary school! How addicted are those kids going to get when they start out that young? Dang... I'd rather not get addicted, so I don't drink it at all. I don't even care for the smell of it...

High school age, at the earliest. Even then, it shouldn't be a daily ritual, just something to enjoy now and then.
My children won't be drinking sodas either. Stuff like Coke and Mountain Dew are far worse than coffee.

I'm not sure....compare the caffeine in Mt. Dew to the caffeine in the coffee. I bet you will be surprised. You can always choose decaf coffee and they probably wouldn't know the difference at the young age.

I agree with you but high school kids, especially once they are old enough to work can buy their own and should be able to drink it if they choose to. Kids drink pop/soda with caffeine so really, what's the difference. Once their bodies have stopped growing, their not harming too much in moderation. I definetly don't want my kids on caffeine while they're young. They have too much energy, they wear me out!

My sister regularly gives coffee to my 3-yr-old nephew and has done this ever since he was very small. Personally I think it's a mistake. I mean, isn't coffee said to stunt your growth? Or is that smoking? Or masturbation...?
Ugh, I can't keep track of all the don'ts!
