I hope if this quiestion would be answered by people who have positions as reqruiters/HR.

I have been in and out my job for the last 6 years because my partner's job kept moving/transferred. The last job I held for 2 and half years, and other jobs I held lest than a year.

I don't have a choice but to follow him, because he made 4 times what I made.

Does it look bad to recruiter?
Any sugestion what should I do next?

Besides, I loved my last job....and it is hard to find a job you like with all people you like.

My recommendation: - when you list each employer, make sure you put the city and state, and then a comment on why you moved - however, if you use the term partner, many may make some judgements about you, so I wound find a less "political" word, such as "family" moved, and the fact that each job is in a different state will make it apparent that you're employable.

Understand that new companies keep hiring your partner and don't seem concerned about him flitting about -

However, that being said, a potential employer may not hire you because, if he moves again, you'll be off with him - so if he's still going up the ladder, expect to have some problems - perhaps the same company that hired him will hire you?

I don't really understand your question, but its sounds like you already answered it yourself.
If your partner is making 4 times what you make, then he obviously can take care of you, and the constant transferring is something you know of when you got with him.

HR Recruiting is a position that's pretty mobile anyway.
See if your job has affliates or brother/sister companies that you can transfer too as well.

I'm an HR student, but have interviewed people in my former HR career.

It all depends on the type of job you are working in. I know that as an HR professional interviewing you, I would want to know what your future career plans are. I prefer to hire someone who will be there for more than a year.

Yes it is bad to keep changing jobs. It is called being a job hopper. I understand that your partner keeps getting transferred and moved but have you considered transferring with your company? If you are in a professional field it is going to get harder and harder to find a job. if you work in a restaurant or store then you are fine.

This question looks bad to recruiters. You seriously need an education.
