The atmosphere? We have global warming due to an overabundance of greenhouse gasses (CO2) and global dimming due to an increase in pollutants in the air. We are fortunate that they have counteracted each other, but who knows how long that will last. Let us not forget the largest hole in the ozone layer in recorded history.

Earth is merely responding to mankind's lack of consideration to the environment. At some point, the environment will become inhospitable as Earth tried to reach a state of equilibrium. Most of mankind will be eradicated and over millions of years, life and the atmosphere as we know it will return to normal.

The truth is we don't really know how much danger our atmosphere is in. Environmentalists definitely have an agenda of trying to cause fear and panic in people (because that's their power base) but if you question their methods of research or their findings, their response is to call you an idiot and attack you with a maturity level that makes Pee Wee Herman look like Ward Cleever. Their research is fundamentally flawed, as are their conclusions. They say hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emitted from vehicle exhaust is the #1 cause of global warming, but two events in my lifetime -- the eruption of Mount St. Helens and the eruption of Mount Pinatubo -- have released more of those two gases into the atmosphere than ALL the emissions since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. So who or what is truly to blame? Is global warming really happening, and if so, how do you answer the mountain of scientific research that suggests it's NOT happening? Are the polar icecaps really melting, and if so, is it because too many people are driving their gas-guzzling SUVs or is it a natural process our planet is going through? We may never know the answers to these questions...

Many reports purported to have been issued by scientists and learned people from all parts of world lead us to believe that the 'atmosphere' is in danger. Blaming he or she will not solve the problem. Officers at for example UN, can release documentaries, which can be easily understood by common man too, things to do and things not to do in their dwelling places, through TV programmes asking the governments and private groups too to play them at an regular intervals. Schools all over the world should be supplied with such CD so that the children foresee the oncoming danger to the mankind. Will they do? Let us presume they will do.

No danger, no blame, Mother Nature is very good at taking care of herself, various types of weather are natural cleansing processes such as lightening storms naturally clean the atmosphere, and bear in mind that Mother Nature is preparing herself for another ice-age, of which explains the seemingly abnormal weather conditions that have been occurring around the globe.

The Atmosphere is still very breathable. UV radiation is increasing due to ozone depletion started by early aerosol products and refrigerant gas released for many dacades. BUT --You can bet Bush will be blamed.
