i went with my mother to mexico and there i talked to an old man who was some kind of healer and he told me that life is a snake a snake crawling out of its own dead skin,like a dream.
it sounded better in spanish

Perhaps he is talking of his own inner experience. Some people experience some energy from the base of spine and if it is true , then they would have merged themselves into this experience, and this energy is compared to rising of a coiled serpent within. May be he is trying to make a similar comparison of his experience . Try a search for the words "Kundalini the serpent power " on Internet.. This could perhaps give more clues.

From what it sounds like to me, that we all go through changes in life. The dead skin represents the past and the new skin is our present and future. *shrug* But that sounds pretty cool lol.
