I weighed myself last thursday morning, and I resegtered at 213lbs I am down from (240lbs) I started lifting 4-5 days a week a month a go, and consistantly have been losign 2 lbs per week. I took thursday-Saturday off from lifting and went to visit family, I drank a few beers and ate some unhealthy food, but I can back to weigh myself on Monday morning and the scale was just over 220lbs!! how does that work? I havent topped 220 in a few weeks!! Did I really gain that much weight? or is some of it muscle mass increasing weight? Anyone have any ideas?

most likely you are dealing with some added water weight from the food and beer that you had. Drink plenty of water and get back on track and back at the gym, then weigh yourself in another week - I'm sure you'll be fine.

Well quite frankly 213 is still heavy so it wasnt like you were buff to begin with...and you eating unhealthy consistenly for a few days can do that to your body, becasue you didnt mention cardio training...you cant just do weight lifting...it doesnt get your heart rate up enough to burn fat...If you do cardio 3 days a week and lift the other days I assure you that you will not gain that much weight again...check out the website below for details on this amazing LIFE plan to stay healthy for life.
