and two empty cans of coke, one empty lunchbox, three crisp packets and an empty packet of fags?

Is it the law?

I used to be a white van man, the old copy of the sun is for emergencies when there are no public toilets available it has to be the sun cause you can only put on it whats in it.

the coke cans are for when you fall asleep at the wheel and the van swerves hopefully the clatter of the cans will wake you.

the empty lunch box is purely cosmetic its to make people think somebody loves cause they made you lunch, hence the empty crisp packets the real lunch, the *** packets cause your such a lonely **** theres nobody to nag you to give up.

Hope that was helpful

You must live somewhere really posh!

An empty LUNCHBOX?

LUNCHBOX?!!!

I take it that's some kind of posh for empty Pot Noodle carton, (mostly empty and a little dribble of some of the juice coming out over the edge to trickle nicely into a small hole where the rust has actually worn through.)

It doesn't absolutely HAVE to be an empty *** packet. It could be a pack of green rizzlas with the papers trailing out and the remains of a a duty-free pack of Golden Virginia - but that's only a nicety - a matter of taste.

Obviously you have been spending far to much time looking through the windows of white vans........ is there something you want to confess lol
if you look closely you will see a copy of the daily sport under the sun

The old current bun mate, the star is a more popular choice or anice copy of the daily sport. You've also got to perfect the finger gesture of when your cutting people up letting them politely no it's not your van it's the companies and if we crash we don't care.

Not only is it the law but also their van will not start at all unless these items are all in place. It's a fine and delicate balance, one which only a true white van master can perfect.

Do you know what, I was ready to give you a piece of my mind as my husband is a white van man, then after seeing your list I realised he does tend to have most of those items in the front of his van...... so I shall just curl in the corner and weep!!!

I think your right, they must under the 'White Man Van Code'

No. A new copy of "The Sun" is equally as acceptable as an old one.

I think Ford supply them when you purchase the van

You can get an optional extra from them where they spray muck on the back and write some thing witty in it
