Well i go through my boyfriends phone and my friends phones too. I look through everything on my bfs. phine to make sure hes not doing anything he shouldnt be doing but i just look at my friends call historys to see who they have talked to.

If your a parent then the answer is very much yes. If your a spouse and things are starting to look and sound like your spouse is stepping out on you then you need to before you confront your spouse. But if your talking about someone who is not a spouse or your child, then i wouldn't only because it's
their business not yours.

oh well.... some times we just cant help it. i know if done it and i did find some stuff i just didn't want to see, or actually what i want to see coz why would i go through his phone!!! if you get the feeling to do some thing then do it. believe me!
