I cleared out a little space in the tool shed outside that I call my own. When she gets that way I go to my little escape area until she gets normal again.

Well you need to confront her. Tell her how she is making you feel. Avoid the words "you always" and "you never." But let her know when she treats you like that or acts like that it makes you feel ____. Also ask her what you can do to help make it better. Open communication is amazing. When you deal with a problem, CALMLY it can be resolved. Do not be confrontational. But understanding and willing to her what is bother her. Do not be defensive, no matter what she says. Take some time to digest and see if she has a valid point.

here's what i did, i started dishing the treatment back to her, instead of being nice kind and loving, when she would start with her griping and complaining, i just started saying things like whatever ur problem is its not my fault and don't take it out on me. also i stopped with the flowers, cleaning the house, laundry, etc as she did not seem to appreciate it and now i just do my own thing. also if it effects your sex life, then either act like u don't want it, or even better masturbate infront of her and go to sleep, basically just ignore her and she will change or she will leave

I feel for you man . What can you do besides ask her , "If you don't like me , why did you marry me?" . and judge yourself accordingly from the response. I don't know if there are kids involved but you have to be happy too. It's not healthy for them to see people treating people badly and you don't want them to put up with a partner treating the like this so it's up to you to set an example . Do what you would advise your kid to do in the same situation.

Trade her in for a new improved younger model.
I would say, confront her and try to comunicate your feelings and let her know that you don't deserve he crap, Then if your strong enough let her know that if things don't change you will change the current situation.

Maybe a little seperation

If she is being abusive, look at her parents. Were/are they verbally and emotionally abusive? If they are then that is the pattern your wife has learned. Either help her learn a new pattern, get her to go to counseling, or get a new wife.

I know you said men only but I am a true Bit.h I'll admit it. I was always rude to my husband and he was always still nice. One day he stopped being nice and I surely noticed. I realized that is no way to act. I've calmed down and he still loves me. Good luck...L.

Tell her if she continues to treat you like a b---h, then you are going to give her a peace of her own medicine... Then just maybe she will stop. Or at least she may calm down...

People treat us as we allow them to treat us.....I put up it from my ex many years....eventually I let her know that I wasnt willing to pt up with it anymore....when she got nasty...I ignored her, wouldnt respond at all....sometimes Id head to the bar, or run errands, vist family and friends....after a while she figured out that she wasnt getting the desired result (her way)....things got better.
