That's a pretty broad generalization. Not all Americans hate Latin Americans -- in fact, most Americans probably don't care either way. There is a good-sized group of Americans who hate Latin Americans, but their hatred is directed toward the illegal immigrants. Personally, the Latin Americans that I have met have been (for the most part) very friendly, very family-oriented, and very generous. All in all, nice people. Of course, there are exceptions to that rule, but you get that with any group of people no matter who they are or where they're from...

That's like asking if females hate humans. Latin Americans are a subset of Americans. Do they hate themselves?
If you are asking if U.S. citizens hate Latin Americans, then I'd say perhaps only a small percentage are racial haters.
If this is about the illegal immigration issue, keep in mind that there are those U.S. citizens that have no issue with LEGAL immigrants, but desire to stop the flood of illegal immigrants. This, for the most part, has noting to do with hatred, other than a hatred for illegal activities.

Those are two groups. You can't put everyone in the same category. There are bigots everywhere, in every culture. But to say "Americans" and "Latin Americans" is too broad.

I don't believe that to be true in my experience. I certainly don't hate them. Prejudice exists everywhere, but blanket statements don't fit.
