Well, that depends on how much stress I'm dealing with. We all deal with stress every day. If we didn't have ANY stress, I guess we'd all just die of boredom.
There HAVE been times in my life though, where I've been overwhelmed by stress - just so many problems coming at me from many different directions. During those times, I have just tried to not allow myself to be totally consumed by my problems. Anti-depressants can really help with this, which I've taken in the past. I used Wellbutrin, which just seems to level things out for me. I was still aware of all the problems I was facing, but the drug took away that "...what am I going to DO? I can't DEAL with this!!!" feeling.
I've also taken great comfort in trusting in God to help me get through whatever I'm going through. Sometimes a good counselor is good too. It just helps you us to talk things through sometimes.
Sometimes life can really knock us on our butts - just lay us completely out. I think it's really important to remember to never give up - no matter how bad things look . It's so important to hold on to hope - and to remember that even when things look and seem completely hopeless, to hang in there anyway, because the answers to problems can come in many, many unexpected ways.
Great question!

Strenuous physical exercize followed by yoga and meditation. Do what you like approach. Music, reading good books or chatting with near and dear ones-what ever you like! Concentrate and focus on your job minding your own business. Do a little charity and help others if possible. Keeping company of good and learned people. This is a choice recipe for destressing!

I do all I can to avoid it.I try hard to avoid situations that bring stress.I take responsibility for my obligations and that alone reduces stress.I try to make the right choices in my life even when I want to go off course,b/c going off course causes stress in my life. I have found over the years that all the choices I make everyday either make stress or relieve stress,so I make sure I do what's right for me.

Prayer, meditation, deep breathing, walking, exercise, talking with a trusted friend, music, positive self talk, just quiet time alone with my thoughts to sort things out. all of the above have worked for me. Depends on the circumstance which one is used. however, prayer is always the first and followed with what ever is necessary from the above. Good luck and God Bless

I've tried alot of different ways, and I'm just discovering that excersise is the best way for me. Try doing a really hard workout. Just exhaust yourself and compare the sleep you get that night to how you've been sleeping lately. Its amazing.
