I know its a generalization, so don't get hung up on accusing me of stereotyping, but it is a trend I've noticed, just wanting some imput, thanks everyone!

Oh, I don't know, dearheart. Perhaps it's that many women find gay men less "threatening" than straight men and that they're easier to be around. On the other hand, my Partner and I (26 years now) have a great deal of male freinds who seem very comfortable with us, be us Lesbians or not. Have a good one.

Well i know a lot of lesbians who are completely comfortable around men & have plenty of male friends (myself included. I find men alot easier to befriend than many women actually) But i also know some lesbians who cannit make any type of emtional link to any man, including strictly friendship. Some women are just uncomfortable around men and would rather not be close to them. Some feel threatened. Some feel as if they cant get close with a male without him trying to have sex with her to turn her "back in". (lol) I had that problem alot and grew tired of it quickly which is why most of the male friends i have are gayer than apple pie!!!!

I can only speak for me personally. I do not have alot of male friends because most guys can not grasp the concept that I want nothing more than friendship. It gets complicated and messy and I'd rather steer clear. Truthfully, I'd LOVE to have male friends that are mature and respectful of my very committed relationship with my girlfriend. It's great to get male perspective on issues and life in general but again....it gets complicated when a guy only wants to hear about your sex life with your girlfriend, or bugs you about threesomes, or says he's man enough to turn me straight! LOL!!! RIGHT!!!

Women usually aren't hitting on gay men, but, Straight guys seem convinced they can get a lesbian into bed given the right set of circumstances so......

Because the lesbians are territorial with da bitches and often hate the though of an alpha male getting in the pack. "generally speaking for most not all girls! ;o)"

The lesbians can't hang around men. The men would keep trying to setup gang bangs.
Straight women don't behave that way.

It's simply your perspective. I have plenty of male friends. Actually, now that I think about it, more male friends than female friends.
I guess that's because I grew up with all boys in my family and in my neighborhood. So, I feel very comfortable around men.

good question, i think some Gay men just feel more comfortable around women, most str8 men don't welcome Gay men in their clicks. Can't speak for the women, i do have a lesbian friends though

I have lots of lesbian friends and we have fun picking up women together and doing them in our own ways

lesbian women do have men friends, but mostly they have other lesbians for friends, and gay men have lots of other gay men as friends, as well as straight women
