Unfortunately we all sent our army to Iraq,because we were
afraid to be seen as unpatriotic after 9/11.
We have ALWAYS been free, if we are willing to take the
consequences along with benefits of that freedom.
As a nation we failed to exercise our freedom to resist
stupidity and greed in our own government.

No one did. The army wasn't sent to fight for "us" to have freedom; that was never a reason.

Indeed, it seems to be a big ruse to restrict our freedoms.

Congress voted and decided to send them. The Democrats as well as the Republicans voted. Pres.Bush does not make these decisions alone. The whole congress is responsible....it's just that since the Democrats changed their minds they don't want to accept the responsibility for it.
