I see people on yahoo answers drawing a distinction between being bisexual and merely being "curious." Is this a distinction without a difference? If you believe there is a difference between a bisexual and someone who is merely "curious," where do you draw the line?

Please try to resist the temptation to quote scripture and tell me that it is a sin in the eyes of God because this is just an intellectual exercise and a hypothetical question.

It is that way because most of us with many decades of experience have learned that it is the case. "SOME" women pop in and out of sexual roles, depending on the time of their life and what they get out of the relationship. Men tend to stay put, ESPECIALLY after making the change from totally str8 to 'curious'. As soon as they see how good sex with a man is, most don't go back to women ( unless they are married, etc., and will wait it out until the kids are grown). As the song (sort of) goes, "How are you going to keep them down on the farm (with the cows), after they've seen Gay Par-eeeeee".

Just because you are curious DOESNT make you bi sexual. There are alot of things that people are curious about and they either try it and like it or they dont try it. Alot of females are curious and i being one of them,,,,and no im not bi....never had a woman and probably never will,,,,its just something that looks like it could be fun. THere is nothing wrong with wanting to try different things. Being with another woman just seems so erotic and natural....from the pornos that i have seen. I dont think i would ever have the balls to go through with it though. I know my man would want me to try it and let him watch.....NOT. but im not bi sexual by no means....just curiosity.

If you are "curious" it probably just means that you haven't tried the bisexual thing YET. Once a person does try it and likes it, that probably makes them bi.

Curious is what happens when you see something shiny..and then stick a knife into it, either you like the zapping feeling or you don't. If you like the zapping feeling and want more of it, then your bisexual.

being curious is like wanting to see how being with the same sex is like wanting to experiment and being bi-sexual is actually being with the same sex having an attracting for them
being curious doesn't make you gay or bi-sexual now if you want to be with the same se that's something different

I'd say curious is if you just have a fling with both lots, but actually Bi is when you're in relationships with both.

bi-sexual, curious..dats easy....i call it confusion!...its like lesbians...youhave the feminine ones and the dominant ones...it so happens that the dominant masculine lesbo's are'nt attracted to the dominant ones like them..so i ask whats the point of being lesbian????....it goes back to childhood...most of these people were molested, raped or sum'n sick..then they question theeir sexuality and get confused..jus look at michael jackson..he just wants to "love' the children....lol
