that all depends on what caused them to become a hermit in the first place........many become hermits due to the inability to handle peer pressure(OK I took this too seriously I know) but one of our good friends was almost a hermit and it was due to his inability to handle people.

a hermit is by himself by choice, not by effect, so it would seem to me that no, since he has no peers, and even if he did, they wouldn't be around him( hence the name hermit) to pressure him. right?

It is indeed, though it is stressful wondering if people consider you to be a tramp or recluse or some weird s**t like that.
