Last week I went to a GSA meeting at another college. My college's GSA went to their meeting just to kind of meet new people and get some ideas. I noticed that most of the girls were studs. I myself am one. They were all black because we go to HBCU's. Anyway, why don't the studs go for other studs? I sucks because alot of those girls are really attractive. I don't want to change the way I dress so how would I get with one of them and why is it like that?

OK, they dress more guy like than me. More like a black dude and I dress like a skater dude and I have a mohawk. Is there any chance I could get with one of them

So don't change the way you dress. Be yourself, be confident and go up and introduce yourself to these Ladies. Just be polite. I'm certain you'll be able to find a couple of new freinds at least, if not another companion. (Um....I hate to sound old-fashioned (which I am) but what the heck is a "stud" outside of a 6x6 peice of wood?) Blessings, my dear.

Raynebow was right when she said studs prefer to be with a woman more feminine than them. It's not unheard of for 2 studs to be together but it's rare.
As a stud myself...well I couldn't make another stud my wifey. I am black and I date all races, but I date femmes of all races.
You shouldn't have to change the way you dress, if your comfortable dressing the way you do then don't change.
But I'm telling you, it's gonna be a challenge to find another stud that gets down like that, especially a black woman.
Why is it like that? I don't know, but in my experience you'll find that white women are a little more open to the stud/stud dynamic.
I could be totally wrong, but I have NEVER met a black stud that was dating another stud.
Are they out there? Probably.

Well...i can make it plain & simple and say that most studs prefer to be with women more feminine than them. They identifty with the more tomboyish look themselves because thats what makes them more comfortable, but most want girly girl types as wifey. For example, my girlfriend is a stud...and im 100%femme. The thought of her getting wth another stud literally makes her ill. lol. And many studs look at other studs who want to be with another stud as a "punk". I guess they feel threatened. Now me personally, i do think it looks a little strange to see two tomboyish women 2gether (it's almost unheard of in the young black gay community, not so strange among other nationalities) but when it all comes down to it, women are women! And a lesbian is a woman who loves women, so its okay that u are attracted to other studs. Just kno that it will be hard for u to find another one, but im sure she's out there! Good luck ;-)

I have never heard of a stub being a term exclusively for Black Lesbians.. But who knows I'm from California.... Typically Speaking from a Stud's point of view... I love fem women, I love the way they move, dress, mannerism, and the delicate way they put their hands on me... I'm not attracted to another Stud ever, For me that would be like being with a man... Sociological maybe it just isn't for me... On a completely joking aspect my butch friend always jokes with my and smacks my *** really hard and I call her a fag... And she calls me that as well... But its like we do things like watch football, play pool, go fishing, ride Harley's we do stud stuff together. I wouldn't want my girlfriend doing that with me too... Some don't and some do. Like anything else, it's all a manner of personal taste. People tend to be a bit less flexible in such things in your age group.
The only thing that you can really do is flirt with them and ask them out. In time you will find someone suitable for you.
And for those who are asking...
The terms STUD and BUTCH are synonymous.

Well in the "black race" stud on stud is looked down on... I think just be open and honest... if they wont date you because they are studs as well just respect that
