He's movig in 5 weeks and he tells me he "can't do this anymore." I knew it would end, but I didn't think it would be this soon. I told myself that I'd be okay when it happened because it's not like my heart is in it anyway. Now that I know its really over, I can't stop thinking about him and it hurts more than I ever thought it would. What is this I am feeling? How can it hurt so bad when I thought it was only a sexual interest?

You are feeling the pains of love. I guess there are some people that can have a sexual relationship with someone and feel nothing towards them, I certainly am not one of them and it sounds like you arent either. Maybe you should learn a lesson from this and keep sex what it should be, an expression of deep love for someone, not a selfish act of lust.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I went through that before.
Everyone hurts afterwords depending on the break-up and how long they were dating.
It possibly could be because you and him were dating for a long while and there could have been a bit of love for him even though you thought the relationship was only based on sexual interest.

The minute you start banging someone else, all those feelings will go away.
Itr's a classic case of "I can't have it any more so now I want it more than ever" and it will pass as soon as you have something better to do.

It can be a symptom of "I want what I can't have" or you can have developed feelings for him. Only you in your heart can tell which it is, lust or love.

maybe you loved him and just didnt know it b/c i have only loved 1 guy and he broke my heart once b4 but now we're dating again and i love him and he loves me or so he says which i really believe him so maybe it will work out in the future best wishes
