You have probably upgraded to the new yahoo toolbar where the spyware protection is a Norton program.

I hazard a guess that you have gone over to the BT Yahoo! online protection which uses Norton for anti-virus and anti spyware. Have you got a silver shield icon on your desktop? If you have you should open it and carry out the anti spyware scan every 2 weeks or so. The Norton anti virus should be set to 'on' to constantly protect your computer.

i could recommend no longer making use of the yahoo anti-spyware gadget. It screwed up my common anti-virus (that's outstanding!) enormous time and it took a cable guy popping out and fixing it (i'm getting it by using the cable co). because then, i are turning out to be rid of it thoroughly. basically an FYI. otherwise, in case you certainly need to apply it, it quite is the yellow button with the bullseye finding component on it.

I don't know why, but I can recommend a superior utility that's actually free: Spyware Search and Destroy.
