I know that Taylor Hicks, Kat McPhee, Elliot Yamin, Kelly Pickler, the oh so hot Chris Daughtry, Mandisa (gospel), have recording contracts.

I believe I just read this on a Idol web site and it said it was season 2 in 2003.

Last year, there was Carrie Underwood, Bo Bice, Constantine and then Mario Vasquez...
