what is love?

so many people think that they may have found the "one" but then that quickly passes, and they move on to someone else. what is love? is it just that feeling that you get in your stomach whenever your around that certain someone, or is it something more? how can we really know when we are in love, if none of us truely know what love is?

Some psychologists maintain that love is the action of lending one's "boundary" or "self esteem" to another. And others attempt to define love and apply the definition to everyday life.

There are stages of love. The first stage when you first meet someone that you are attracted to and start in a relationship it is called infatuation. This is when your heart pounds, palms are sweaty, butterflies in your stomach, that kind of thing. The second stage is when you go for the commitment and long term thing. Alot of people tend to lose the attraction in this stage cause it tends to take alot more work and the emotion is sometimes not as strong. People tend to be sort of addicted to the first infatuation stage and once that ends they find another person to get back into that with. When it is true love, you will just know!

For me, I think love is the feeling you get after you have been with someone for a couple of years, and all those feelings in your stomach disappear, and you are left with this deep feeling for the other person, where you know no matter how hard things get, that there is an answer because you are prepared to work to find that answer.

But in my opinion not from the pro verbs " Love is a feeling that you feel to a certain person, that you dont want to see them hurt, lonely, cry you want the best for them, to classify love there are many kinds, love of parents, sis, bro, relatives, friends and to your lovers. Whatever it is love is undefined...! for me, coz you juz feel the love everyday...! You feel love if you CARE to that person whoever he/she is.....lol

The Bible says "God is love" and that makes me believe that until we find Him first and believe in Him we can never know what true love is. When you get things straight with Him, cliche as it sounds, the rest of it falls into place. You will know.

i think love is more than just a feeling.. when u love some1 you'll do any thing for that person. you'll put his/hers feeling in front of your own. i just believe that when you love some1 you'll just know it! when you feel you want to spend every second of every day with that some1 and you;ll never get tired! but mostly when you can trust that person with your life!
