Unless your husband's work is owned by your husband, the computer he uses isn't his property and as a result isn't yours to apply software to. In many work environments a computer is shared by several users, and you would be invading people's privacy.
I highly doubt that the access that you have was given to you with the idea that you would install a keylogger.
Even though keyloggers are designed to not be detected by the user, a good network administrator would know about it. Is it your intention that your husband's integrity be questioned at his work place?
Your wanting to install a keylogger on your husband's workplace computer tells me that you don't trust him. Your underhanded and sneaky way of obtaining information tells me that you yourself aren't trustworthy.
While that last statement seems judgemental, you can bet that your husband's co-workers would have similar thoughts if they were to find out about the keylogger. I think that would be uncomfortable for your husband, and think that you should confront him if you feel that he's hiding things from you.To do otherwise could be damaging to his reputation and have negative repercussions on his employment.

If you need to ask this question you should not be playing with a keylogger. Most anti-virus program will pick these up and it will almost certainly raise some eyebrowes. Unless you are very "confident" in you abilities to the extent that you use numbers in the place of letters on IRC chat channels then you will probably leave a more than obvious trail straight back to you.
So, simple answer, dont play with these kind of things unless you know what your doing since it will otherwise probably backfire. Alternatively try get someone who does know...

I have to agree with Wheat... what you're considering is highly illegal. It is both a Federal offense and a felony. In a business environment, any IT department worth it's salt will do regular scans on their systems to look for spyware. Not just the crap you get off the internet, but true spyware, such as keyloggers. Once they find the program, they'll identify who's getting the reports (you) and trace it right back to your door.
Whatever you suspect your husband of doing, it's probably not going to land him in prison. Doing this will almost guarantee landing you there. Look at the head of HP. She spied on her board. They got caught, she got indicted.
There is, of course, a better way to get the information you want without breaking the law.

Installing a keylogger on a business server without that business's consent is SUPER ILLEGAL. As in, if they find out, they will probably send the FBI to ask you why you did it.

What kind of marriage has deteriorated so far that a spouse has to resort to breaking a federal law? I'm just shaking my head.
I've been divorced for 30 years, made a mountain of money, and it is precisely for this reason I'll never get remarried. What a joke...

Depends on the level of access you have. I really very easy.
Butttt......
You are aware that by doing what you say you want to do you are breaking the law? You could spend time in prison for that.
You should talk to your husband instead of spying on him.

You would have to sneak in and install it without their knowledge and therefore it is illegal and intrusive and...
if you don't trust him that much, Maybe you shouldn't be with him to begin with.
Grow up! Insecurity COULD be why he would cheat in the first place.
