Unfair comparison. Forrest Gump is practically perfect.
"Gigli" is one of those movies that I wind up finding good things about when they are attacked so viciously. It's a slice of real life with realistic but nasty and creepy losers. So J Lo wasn't her usual sweet character, so what? I think she and Ben did a good job of bringing out these uncomfortably true-to-life characters. It wasn't the usually Hollywood fantasyland; it was about real people who live in a fantasy world.
