OK well I've been trying to lose weight for awhile now and my mom was mentioning that I might not be getting anywhere in that because I might have a Tyroid Problem. So i'm wondering when I go to the doctor what is the Procedure for getting tested? Do they have to do a Complete Physical? or just take blood?

Blood work is all that is required. They will test your TSH levels. The Doctor might ask you some other questions like have you been tired, dry skin and hair, puffiness in the face, irregular periods. All of these are symptoms. Many people thing it might be their thyroid but most often it's just not sticking with a plan. If it is your thyroid don't think the weight will just fall off when they get you on medicine - you will have to work harder than others to lose and to keep it off - speaking from experience. I put on weight after having my last child and i was basically starving myself - found out about a year later that it was my thyroid - it's still a constant battle but I'm dealing with it. Medicine definitely makes you feel better. Good luck.
