I would look at Federal Law. Since all child support laws have to follow basic criteria that the government has set. I find it odd that you stop paying support after the 8th child. That would not seem fair to the children, which in ALOT of states there are best interest of child law. I have heard of caps that they put on the amt that you pay in some states say each child is 10 percent, that you can only pay x amt out of your earnings since you have a right to live.

Well that would be a new one on me . i have never heard of this . You should check with a state senator in south carolina. Why are you paying child support for these kids ? are you and your wife seperated or divorcing? While she is pregnant ? That is pretty bad dude I would suggest counseling and see if you two could get back together. Child support is awfully exspensive at the rate of 8 kids whew !!!!

I have never heard of such a law, that would be a stupid law. That would tell all the lowlife dads to keep having kids until they have 8 so then they don't have to pay child support. I would contact the child support office in your area for your real advice!
