I want to calculate when to expect puppies if the Mom dog gets pregnant in Oct.

dogs ussuall take 9 weeks from day of conception till the puppys arrive

I would guess around 90 days, but i'm not sure. Why don't you post this question in the dog section. There may be people better qualified, I have seen a few vets post on there and such. Good luck
