Well, guys will say anything to get what they want. You should know that, he got into your pants when you obviously weren't ready.

But, you should love the child. Whether or not he pays child support is not his choice. File for it and they will take it from him if he doesn't pay it.

I feel for you, but after the baby is born he might have a change of heart. He might be being mean just to try to try to get you to give her up. But if you don't he might become a better man and start facing his responsibilities.

You aren't the first so don't fret. Things work themselves out.

Ok, I understand how you feel, however child support is not his decision....This is the states, since he is the childs father, once they take a paternity test (this is usually done with all children), the state will go after him and make him pay, if he does not, he will go to jail. I am not one for an abortion, so for me, that would not even come up. You need to find someone else whom is not just about getting in your pants. I am so sorry that this happened to you but if he did not want to be with you in a real relationship, then he would stay around. You got played. So sorry to have to be the one to tell you this. Good luck, get him for child support.

He sounds like an a** why did you let him get you pregnant? He has to pay child support. He needs to be a man and take care of his kid. Thats messed up and I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this b****. I know a lot of guys like that. That is not right at all that's bull ****. If he doesn't want to care for your little girl and be a man about it then he doesn't love you and let him go, he will still have to pay child support for his daughter. I'm so sorry for you and your daughter. She will have to grow up with out a father. Did you try talking to him? Why won't he take responsibility for his baby girl? Good Luck!

I know you are hurt, but you have to think what is the best interest of the child. Don't fight and stress it out with him. I know, easier said than done. The courts will ORDER him to pay support regardless if he wants to or not. He doesn't get a choice in the matter. Good luck

Well, sorry to say it, but you can't force someone to be a father. I don't know where you live, but if you live in the US - the state you are in will go after him for support. He got you pregnant...he should pay. Of course that also entitles him to right to the child.

You will never, ever change his mind. Some men are just like that - don't kill yourself with worry, raise your daughter the best you can, make sure she has positive male influences in her life and be a strong mother and role model for her.

Forget about him, right now that cute baby is more important.
He just lied to you, and now doesn't want to pay the consequenses.
Give that child all the love she needs and forget about that friend.
Go to court with him and then we'll see if he's going to pay childsupport or not.

It sounds like he is in denial of the reality of the situation. Whether or not he pays child support isn't his decision.

When he finally faces up to his responsibilities, he will realize that being a father cna be one of the coolest things imaginable. Just continue to have faith in yourself and focus on preparing for baby and let him figure it out for himself. He needs to realize that the baby is as much his as yours, and that the baby needs a dad around- and maybe even that he needs the baby as well.

Good luck- don't stress- and congratulations!

alright mama let me help you out. You dont need his a*ss to raise that little girl. If someone doesnt want to be with you because they dont want to take on responsiblity.. ef em. Your little girl is more important than ANYONE, so dont let anyone tell you different. I am a YOUNG mother of 3(9wks, 1 and 2). I do it by myself every damn day. All you need is those kids. They make the day go by. So forget about him. He obviously wasnt your true best friend to begin with

He's not going to be there he's an immature jerk. You need to redirect your thinking, and focus on your child. Your child is going to be the most important thing in the world.
Move on, and make a good life for your child.

why care for him? He's a jerk! he HAS to pay child support. unfortunately, you most likely will have to handle this legally.... don't give up your baby girl just because he said so... do whats right for the child... if you can't provide for her, then find a great family for her...
