It sounds like lust to me. For the fact your on here asking sounds like to me that you know that its lust because when someone in love they know their in love. When your in love you can share everything with that person you can be yourself and you it gos beyond sex.

I've been in lust and in Love and from what you've said your in lust over this guy....Love has 3 stages Friendship, Trust, and Passion...it takes time to develop each one. Eventually your other needs (Trust, Security, emotional needs etc.) will come into play and if your only consumed by the physical aspect of the relationship there isn't much more room for growth nor a chance of having a truly meaningful relationship were "all" your needs are being meet...

Love is when you worship the ground that your interest walks on, love is when you really care about the life of your interest...die for you, lie for you kinda stuff.

Lust is when you only want someone for their sex appeal and how it'll be when you guys have sex. Lust is when you only care about what's outside but abandon what's inside that person. Lust basically is when you go for the looks but not what's inside.

Lust is fleeting and purely concerns itself with actual elegance. Love is eternal and concerns itself with the flaws that definitely remember a pair of individual . . . the essence of who they are. it is the version between lusting after somebody "using fact of" and loving somebody "whether." Love needs a individual for who they are, not for what they appear to be.

the only way to really now that you love someone is to really want this person to be happy even if it's not with you. love is not selfish. if he tells you that you shouldn't get involve listen to him because he has a point. lust would just be going after him for sex, after he's said no already.

love lasts, lust won't.

sounds as if there is a great amount of physical attraction between you both. Give it a go, who knows, you might have something great there that you are refusing to see.

Love is in the heart and the brain, lust is in the groin.

Love is physically and emotionally.
Lust is when you are definatly attracted to their looks and body.

Ask yourself this... would you still love them if their looks changed? Would you be able to stay with them if they were old? Ask yourself questions to see if you really would stay with them if their outside appearance had changed. See what your answer is.
