usually if they are flirting they are interested but maybe she wants you to chase her and show your feelings for her

A lot of girls are grown up with the image that the men should woo them...(eg cinderella, sleeping beauty...); so if she is playing hard to get but seems interested it may mean that she is keen on you showing her how you feel. For instance, you could ask her on a date, or do something romantic like buy her flowers.
A lot of my friends and I only flirt with guys we aren't interested in if we are really really good mates, and have that comfort level, but it also means the guys flirt innocently too...you can tell the difference

When girls play hard to get, it is only because they are acting on their animal instincts. If you watch any Discovery or Animal Planet special you will see that the female mammal always make the male work for her intimacy. If this particular girl in question is playing hard to get then you may want to show some interest in her....she's obviously not easily giving it up to everyone.

If she's truly just playing hard to get, then it means she wants you to make her feel that she's worth pursuing. If you constantly pursue her like you're interested in her as a girlfriend, you'll find out the truth... you'll know if she only wants to be friends, or if she's interested in you as a boyfriend.

Often times they are presenting an image to you which is not their true self... but some idea of what they think is an image that
they want people to percieve!
