At first we thought it was his uncle, but it turns out that the blood test came back negative - so it's not her uncle (though she did sleep with him - see a previous question). From what she says she's slept with 8-9 guys. Two are in jail, one is married, one was her uncle (not guilty), her off and on boyfriend, a one night stand with a bartender from downtown (doesn't even remember his name) and at a party where she and 3 or 4 guys had sex in a dark room (she was drunk). I'm the only one she's told this to, but it's getting to a point where she's going to have to say something and need some help. She used to be a model, but that's not paying cause she's pregnant. I think she needs to know the truth about the baby's daddy and what she needs to do. Any advice on how she can tell her folks, approach the questionable fathers (if she can find them) or what she can do with her life?

Well, looks like she's in a dilemma.

You don't say how old she is. If she's 18 or older and on her own and can care for herself and her baby, she doesn't need to say anything to anybody about the father of her baby. If she's still in high school, she has to tell her folks.

If she really wants to know who the father of her child is, she's going to have to be up front with the potential fathers and ask for tests to be taken to help determine which one it is. It will be difficult if, as you say, she doesn't remember all the names of the men she's been with.

If her lifestyle is of the kind that going out and being with different men is what she wants and makes her happy, she should probably seriously consider giving up her baby for adoption. Babys are time consuming and expensive and need to be top priority in one's life.

If she want's to keep her baby, she's going to need to change how she lives. Get a job that will provide for her and the baby and perhaps get some govt assistance until she can take care of herself and the baby. Perhaps she can go to college and get an associates degree to start with that will give her some sort of training to enable her to get a better job than modeling is at this point.

She's going to need to do some serious thinking and making some hard decisions on what and where her life is heading.

And I do believe that in most states incest is against the law so she should stop sleeping with her uncle.

I think the important question, is has she changed her attitude on life since having the baby? But as far as the father goes, from what you have said there is no way she would be able to track them down...does she even know all the guys names?

It may be best if she just raises the baby on her own, there are plenty of single parents out there doing a really good job

why the hell does she HAVE TO APPROACH THE QUESTIONABLE FATHERS? ummm she doesn't and I'm sure she feels enough emberassment thank you! SHAME ON YOU...GEEZE why can't she talk to her parents..tell them how it is..and work on havein' a STRESS FREE pregnacy and getting her own life in order before the baby comes.....there are plenty of children in the world that don't know their daddy's or even grow up with one for that matter! they still manage to grow up strong members of their community! you need to BACK OFF help her yes....but get your nose out of her affairs. She doesn't need to be trackin' all these guys down looking like a big s l u t right now...she needs to be getting everything ready for the baby...she can worry about "who's my baby's dady " later...after the baby is born.

Sounds like she has bigger problems that "who her baby daddy" is. She needs to get into some sort of counseling...and she needs to decide if she is going to be a good, responsible mother.

She made the choices, so she should live with the consequences. Unless you think you are the father then why should you worry yourself about it?
