Its never a bad idea to see your doctor. It is highly probable that you are OK..but you never know..the impact could effect the placenta and not necessarily the baby...this could be very dangerous...I would call your doctor and ask what he thinks you should do..he will give you instructions over the phone and some things to watch out for...This should help put your mind at ease and further educate you on what to expect..
Hope this Helps.

No. You're fine. Its not a concern until the baby is larger, and the uterus is expanded. The stress on the muscles and ligaments is greater, and can cause the uterus to switch into labor mode, causing a miscarrige. Or, when the baby is larger and filling up the space, theres less between it and the outside world, so a fall is enough to cause a still born child.
But at this stage you're fine, the baby is itsy bitsy, about the size of a grain of rice, and barely implanted into the uterus. Its not like someone puched you in the gut.
If you have bleeding, heavy cramping, or feel off contact your doctor.

I agree with much that has been already stated. If you are still experiencing pain in just your hip, no problem but if those pains extend into the abdominal regions you should see your doctor. Otherwise, I wouldn't be too worried as babies are well cushioned against such things. Like being in a water filled balloon that is in a well padded cell. It would take a lot of force to cause any damage.

If you are bleeding or cramping, go to the emergency room or your doctor's office. If not, you are probably okay. I fell down the stairs when I was 5 weeks pregnant with my first daughter. I called my doctor's office and they sent me to the emergency room for an ultrasound. The doctor I saw that day said it wasn't really necessary because I didn't have any cramping or bleeding, but it sure made me feel better. I'm sure you're okay, hope you didn't hurt yourself too bad.

dont worry hun, most likely nothing happen, just have extra care from now on, and if you start cramping or bleeding call your dr, but you are just fine. I also hit my hip when I was 10 wks, and dnothing happened, the dr said they are very well cushioned in there, she checked for the heartbeat and it was very strong. Good luck and congratulations on your new baby.

no, babies are pretty well cushioned in there...if you hit your belly really hard then yuo might worry but hitting your hip is not going to do anything....when I was 9 months I fell directly on my stomach because my sister had an emergancy and I was running to pick up her kids....I was fine!

Your baby is very protected in there, and I'm sure he's fine. However, if you feel cramping or have any bleeding, I'd go to the doctor. If you feel uncertain, run up to the doc and have him take a look at you.

at six weeks, the baby is well cusioned. I would'nt worry unless i started getting some serious cramps or bleeding. At the same time, if you're worried then go see your OBGYN, no question or concern is silly when you're pregnant

If you start bleeding, at all, you should go to the doctor right away. If you feel fine and your not bleeding, you should be okay. Just make sure you are more careful from now on.

i actually fell straight on my stomach at 39 weeks...of course being a first time mom, i rushed myself to the ER....just to reassure me, they did an ultrasound and all was well...your baby is protected in the amniotic sac and its kind of like its protector against falls and what not...
if you are really concerned, call your doctor...
