Pathetic, useless, overpaid, under talented. Does this adequately describe the England players? Ferdinand on £100,000 a week; what a joke. Bring back Beckham? Is that Posh or David? How about bring back Sven? The questions are unending, the result predictable.

Where are you from? Yet another person happy to have a go at England. They did not lose against Macedonia and still top the group.The result is far from predicable. I would dearly love England to win just to shut up people like you. I think England will do well tonight although I think it is likely to be a draw.As to the game against Macedonia:
Robinson was very competent.
Neville did not get forward enough and was one of his lesser games for England
King had a very good game
Terry had a bad game
Cole again did not get forward enough
Lampard had a good game
Carrick was steady without doing much
Gerrard - did not realise he was playing until he hit the bar
Rooney is trying too hard
Crouch could have scored at least two.
Downing is not an international player.
Wright Phillips looked sharp and should start tonight.
England are not pathetic nor useless. They may be overpaid but they are not undertalented.
Macedonia played well and do not forget that quite recently they beat Italy in Italy. Just in case you have forgotten Italy won the World Cup. This puts the result into perspective.
The score tonight? 0-0 or 1-0 to England.

Don't bring back Sven, he's the reason England became so flat and boring. We should have hired a more passionate manager, maybe like big Sam. As for the players, I think in that England squad the only player with total pride is John Terry, he'd definitely still play for his country without getting paid, unlike Rio, who wouldn't get out of bed unless there was something in it for him. The game has been dominated by money, long gone are the days when a footballer played for his club/country out of pride alone. Shame on them. Oh, by the way 1-1 will be the score I think.

Useless? we've been to the quarters of the last 3 major tournaments in the World, that puts us in the top tier boys. Croatia won't score, are problem is not defending but scoring. Everyone hates England, and I don't care because we still are a top team, boring but a top team. The expectation level is unrealistic. England till I die

After some impressive start for England,they are starting to go back to their old habits...I think Croatia is going to teach them a lesson on scoring goal.

i agree with everything you say but i do think they should bring back beckham (david that is) he does bring stability to the side,i think croatia will win 2-1 although i hope not
