I usually try to pull up next to the person and give them a piece of my mind. Either that, or chase them down and cut them back off.

I lived in Texarkana, Texas for 20 years. Have I ever NOT been cut off on the road? That town has the most inconsiderate drivers I have ever experienced, and that includes Dallas, Minneapolis and Des Moines, 3 large towns known for traffic...never been to LA but I bet it's a snip after Texarkana! What I usually do is slam on the brakes, hit the horn and curse. Not that it helps! As far as retaliation, I'm not suicidal. I had a guy try to run me off the road for stopping for a fire truck! He was mad because I pulled over and stopped when a fire truck went through (and that's STILL what you're supposed to do!)

yeah, but I'm a defensive driver, so I basically anticipate that everyone else is driving like a bone-head. I'm not that upset when it happens, just because I expected them to pull that stunt. If it's too close, I'll lay on the horn just to warn them off a bit. Not much you can do. If they are driving poorly to the point where they are endangering other people, then I'll call the police and report them.

Yes I have. But I usually just let it go, and be thankful there wasn't an accident

Yes, I have been cut off many times. I just slow down and don't let it get to me. I don't let it ruin my day, I just figure they have somewhere important to get to that is more important than what I am doing.

All the time... I live in the state with the worst drivers... Rhode Island!!! I usually just honk and swear.

Let them go their own way. They will eventually meet someone just as rude as themselves and have a very very nasty accident.

yes by a semi and we tumbled down the ditch and I flew out of the front windsheild and almost died!!!
