The picture you see is that of Cindy. Cindy is a Calico, and the proud mother of two little girl kitties, both Calicos: Mindy and Mandy. They have been my constant companions for about 7 years. I also have a pet cockatiel who has been with me for 8 years. Her name is Fortune. I named her after the bird in the Honeymooners. Remember the episode where Ralph thinks he has inherited a fortune and instead fortune turns out to be a bird?
That's my Fortune. I love my pets dearly, as if they are part of my family. As I am single, they really are my family. I'd love to hear about your pets, their names, and how long you've had them. Please share your stories with me.

Nice to meet your pet family. I too am single and am owned by two cats. Both of them are Tabbys, one male, Figaro and one female, Rosina. Figaro was abandoned by his mother and Rosina was found along a county highway. Don't know her back story. I enjoy and appreciate them every single day. I give them messages and pet them 'til they pur so loud they could wake the dead (is that you grandma?)lol. They get along really well together and actually 'talk' to me when I come home from work and early in the morning. Rosina goes on for several minutes as I respond with 'really?' 'then what happened?' 'tell me more'..... she just talks and talks and talks. You can see their pictures on my 360 page- Rosina is the younger looking one but she's real big now. 11 lbs. which isn't big compared to other cats but Figaro is only 5 lbs. and has the biggest eyes!
Say "meow" to your kitties and Fortune from Figaro and Rosina.
Have a great day and yes--- I used to watch the Honeymooners all the time and I remember the bird!

We have 3 rotties. Justice and Belle are brother and sister they are 6 years old. Fred is only two. Two bunnies Lizzy and Windy. A whole bunch of guppies. 3 Black sharks George is the oldest he is almost three Tiny and Split are about 6 months, a rainbow shark, an albino rainbow shark, they live in a 75 gal tank all but split, he lives in the 55gal tank also in the 55 gal tank we have 2 electric yellows, 2 cat fish, 2 blue gromies, 2 Plato's 1 red tail shark and last but not least the 2 parrot. My daughters has 1 male Betta in a 5 gal tank.
Justice was the runt of the litter and his mom wouldn't take care of him so I did. At first he was so tiny we didn't know if he would make it or not. Thankfully our cat (no longer with us) was nursing kittens so she nursed him for a couple days. Belle is one of the most loveable dog I have ever seen she has bad hips really bad hips. We keep her on hip glucosamine and she lost about 50 lbs so she is doing very well. But the reason I say she is the most loveable is I also have grandchildren (10, 5, 3) the two younger would climb all over Belle and she wouldn't even make a sound. We don't allow them to do this since we found out her hips are so bad. Fred omg sometimes I think he the dog from ****. But he just a pup and will learn in time. We have had the bunnies since April of this year so we are still learning about them. Our bunnies don't like to held, but loves to be petted.

In mid March (this year) Justice's toe started swelling up and then it started bleeding for no reason, took him to the vet , took x-ray. Well Justice ended up having to have that toe removed because it just wouldn't heal. Turn out to be cancer. After all was said and done he was suppose to be clean (of cancer) two weeks ago I found another lump on his back. Tomorrow he is having it removed. So I won't know if it is cancer until the report comes back.

Hello~
I have a female guinea Pig. She is white with a brown patch on her left eye. She also has a black patch that covers her private area. She looks pretty funny like that. I got her about two months ago. She is around six months old. Miss Piggy has taken a liken to my 19 year old son more than me. He has her spoiled rotten. She does these little tricks with him. Miss Piggy will kiss him on the lips, and sit up in his hand on her rump. Soon as she hears him walk in the door from being gone all day she squeals for him.

Last Friday I went to the neighbors house up the road and picked out this little mix bread puppy. He is about five weeks old and is not going to get very big. He is grey in color with black spots. Roofus is already spoiled rotten himself. He already knows what the meaning of Bed is along with learning NO. Right now in training. He sleeps in a plastic tub when he takes a nap.

I love animals too. Over the past years I have worked in a couple different pet shops. I use to have a house full of little critters. That is what happens when you work at a shop. ;)

I had a cat, Stinky, whom I loved dearly and he died in 2004 at the age of 7. He was connected to me and almost could 'read' my thoughts.

I have a Tortie, named Lily, who is 'big boned'. :) Adopted her from a shelter.
I have a Tabby named Princess who has white paws and is long and sleek. She can get moody with other people but she loves me a lot. I love her too. She was adopted from a shelter in 2003 when she was about 7 months old.
I have an outdoor cat, Tasha, who we adopted from a friend of a family. Catches mice, moles, rabbits, etc and brings them to us.
Peanut was adopted earlier in the year and she is now outdoors due to elimination issues. (It was addressed many different ways and she still messed everywhere)

and our newest outdoor cat, AL, adopted us just after Labor day this year. The kids have been asking for a kitten for a long time. I said "Nah". That weekend my son asked if we could get another cat like Stinky, my old cat. Well, Al was a stray and adopted us a few days later and he looks like Stinky. My daughter is convinced that her late Great Grandpa Al, told the angels and God to make that kitten for us so we named him AL, after great grandpa. He's friendly and catches mice and brings them to the food dish to 'share' .
